Terms of service
Last updated 1 November 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Cartify24 (“Cartify24”, “we”, “us”). They cover your use of cartify24.com, the merchant dashboard at app.cartify24.com, and the online stores built with Cartify24 (the “service”). By creating an account, signing in (including with Google) or using the service, you agree to these terms and our privacy policy. If you are using Cartify24 for a business, you agree on behalf of that business.
1. The service
Cartify24 is an online store builder. It lets merchants create a store, list products, take orders, accept payments through their own payment account, arrange delivery and manage customers. Some features are “apps” that are available depending on your plan.
2. Who can use Cartify24
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract under Indian law.
- You must not be barred from using the service by law or have had a Cartify24 account closed by us for breaking these terms.
3. Your account
- You can sign up with your email, your mobile number, or your Google account. When you use Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us, as explained in our privacy policy. Your use of Google sign-in is also covered by Google’s own terms.
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your login details safe and do not share them. You are responsible for everything done under your account, including by staff you invite. Tell us at once at support@cartify24.com if you think your account has been misused.
4. Free trial, plans and payment
- New stores start with a free trial. No payment details are needed for the trial. When it ends, you need a paid plan to keep your store open.
- Plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through Razorpay and renew automatically until you cancel. Prices are in Indian Rupees; GST is added where it applies.
- Each plan has limits, such as the number of products, and includes certain apps, as shown on the pricing page. If you go over a limit, you may need to upgrade.
- If a payment fails, we will remind you. If it is not paid within the grace period, your store may be paused until it is. Your data is kept as described in section 12.
- Cartify24 Payments (optional, enabled by Cartify24 for a store): your customers pay online through Cartify24’s Razorpay account using Razorpay Route. You complete Razorpay’s verification for your business and bank account. Each order’s amount, less the commission agreed with you, is paid out to your bank account weekly once Razorpay has settled it. Refunds are taken back from your share of that order. Razorpay’s own terms also apply.
- We may change plan prices. We will give you at least 30 days’ notice, and the new price applies from your next renewal. Refunds are covered by our refund & cancellation policy.
- Cartify24 does not take a commission on your sales.
5. Your store and your responsibilities
As a merchant, you are the seller to your customers. You are responsible for:
- the products you list, their descriptions, images, prices and availability;
- having any licences your business needs (for example, an FSSAI licence for food);
- taxes, including GST registration, collection and filing;
- delivering orders, handling returns, refunds and cancellations, and answering your customers;
- following consumer protection law, including the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. For example, showing your business name, address and contact details, and publishing your return, refund and grievance policies on your store;
- following the terms of any service you connect, such as Razorpay, Shiprocket, WhatsApp or an SMS provider.
6. Your customers’ data
You decide how your customers’ personal data is used, and we process it for you only to run your store, as described in our privacy policy. You must:
- use customer data only to serve your customers and as the law allows;
- tell your customers how you use their data, for example through a privacy policy page on your store;
- send marketing messages only to customers who have agreed to receive them;
- keep exported data (such as order or customer CSV files) secure.
7. Payments from your customers
Online payments on your store go to your own Razorpay account under your agreement with Razorpay. Cartify24 never holds your customers’ money. We are not a party to the sale between you and your customer and are not responsible for payment settlements, chargebacks, refunds or disputes between you, your customers and your payment provider. Cash-on-delivery orders are collected by you.
8. Acceptable use
You must not use Cartify24 to:
- sell anything illegal in India, or restricted goods without the required licences, such as drugs, weapons, tobacco or alcohol, prescription medicines, or wildlife products;
- sell counterfeit goods, or use content, brand names or images you do not have the right to use;
- mislead or defraud customers, including fake reviews, fake discounts or not delivering paid orders;
- send spam, or messages to people who have not agreed to receive them;
- publish content that is hateful, obscene, defamatory, or harms children;
- upload malware, try to access other stores’ or users’ data, overload or probe the service, or get around plan limits or security measures;
- resell or copy the service, or scrape it with automated tools, without our written permission.
We may remove content, pause a store or close an account that breaks these rules, and we will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents us. We may report illegal activity to the authorities.
9. Content and intellectual property
- Your content: you own the content you put in your store (products, images, text, logos). You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, resize and display it only to run and promote your store on the service. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in backups for a limited time.
- Our service: Cartify24, its software, store designs, logo and website belong to us or our licensors. You may use the store designs for your store while you have an account, but may not copy, sell or reuse them elsewhere.
- Feedback: if you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
- Complaints: if you believe content on a Cartify24 store infringes your rights, email support@cartify24.com with details and we will act on valid notices.
10. Other services
The service works with services run by others, such as Google, Razorpay, Shiprocket, WhatsApp, SMS providers and domain registrars. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for how they work or for their availability. You can connect your own domain on plans that include it; you are responsible for registering and renewing it.
11. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep Cartify24 available, fast and secure, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may need to pause it for maintenance, usually with notice. We may add, change or remove features. If we remove a feature you pay for, we will tell you in advance.
12. Cancelling and closing accounts
- You can cancel your plan at any time from Plan & billing in your dashboard. Your store stays open until the end of the period you have paid for.
- You can export your products, orders and customers as CSV files from the dashboard at any time. To delete your account and data, email support@cartify24.com from your account email.
- We may pause or close your account if you break these terms, do not pay, or if the law requires it. Where possible, we will warn you first and give you time to fix the problem or export your data.
- After an account closes, we keep its data for up to 90 days so it can be restored, then delete it, except records the law requires us to keep, as described in our privacy policy.
13. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises beyond those in these terms, including about fitness for a particular purpose, or that the service will increase your sales. You are responsible for checking your store’s settings, prices and taxes.
14. Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
15. Your responsibility to us
If someone makes a claim against us because of the products you sell, your store content, how you use your customers’ data, or your breach of these terms or the law, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from that claim.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in your dashboard at least 15 days before it takes effect. If you keep using the service after that, you accept the new terms; if you do not agree, you can cancel.
17. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If you have a problem, please contact us first and we will try to resolve it. If we cannot, the courts at the city of our registered office have exclusive jurisdiction.
18. General
These terms, with our privacy policy and refund policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up. You may not transfer your account without our consent; we may transfer these terms to a company that takes over Cartify24.
